EVENTS
- Boating
- The Captain's Club supports all types of boating related activities,
including boating safety, and boating education. The club also sponsors
the
annual Blessing of the Fleet in Jacksonville, and participates in the
Lighted Boat Parade and other marine events.
- Cruising -
The Captain's Club schedules monthly week-end cruises to marinas
in North Florida and South Georgia. Members organize smaller group
cruises to
farther destinations, including the Bahamas and the west coast of
Florida.
- Fishing
- The Captain's Club schedules several fishing tournaments for members
during the year. In addition, the club works with major Jacksonville
fishing
tournaments, such as the Kingfish Tournament, and the Black Drum
Tournament.
- Social
- The Captain's Club has many social activities throughout the year,
usually including dinner. In addition to parties at the Club, members
provide
social activities for smaller groups.
