SOCIAL EVENTS

• Entertainment - The Club sponsors monthly parties at the Clubhouse celebrating such annual events as Valentine's Day, St. Patrick's Day, the Club Birthday ( July 27), Florida-Georgia Game, and Christmas. The captains cook and serve the Mates' Appreciation Dinner, which recognizes the contributions of all the mates during the year. The Commodore's Ball is held in December, and marks the investiture of Club officers for the following year.
• Auction Events - Once a year, Club members gather to bid on parties or services to be provided by other members, with the proceeds going to the Club. These smaller gatherings allow members to get to know each other better outside the clubhouse.
• Fifth Tuesdays - There are four Fifth Tuesdays in the year. Club members contribute to a pot luck dinner, and there usually are one or two suprises for entertainment.
